Japanese for Teens (Virtual)
10 Tuesdays, February 8—April 26, 5-6 pm ET 10 Wednesdays, February 9—April 27, 5:30-6:30 pm ET
Beginners are invited to start their Japanese language learning journey with this course designed just for teens! In this online course, students will learn and practice the fundamentals of Japanese language and culture with a group of like-minded peers. Using a variety of fun and engaging activities and examples from popular Japanese media like anime and manga, teens will develop practical listening, speaking, writing and cultural skills to kick-start their Japanese language abilities!
These courses will be conducted online via Zoom. To participate fully, you will need access to a device with internet, microphone, and camera (such as a laptop, smartphone, or tablet). Further instructions will be provided before the course begins. Please note that all times listed are New York time (ET).
Tuition: $250/$200 Japan Society members. Open to ages 11-15. Space is limited to 15 students: advanced registration required.
