Jewish Strong: Raising Voices for Israel Concert
Uplifting music of solidarity, rededication and resolve will be performed by the Zamir Chorale, the premier Hebrew singing choir in North America, and Zamir Noded, the inspiring Jewish choir for young professionals, all conducted by Maestro Matthew Lazar, the leading force of the Jewish choral movement.
Presented by Zamir Choral Foundation, the program includes a featured performance of Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms in the composer’s version for keyboard, harp and percussion, as well as shorter works by American and Israeli composers.
The concert benefits HaZamir Israel, a part of HaZamir: The International Jewish Teen Choir, with chapters in 27 U.S. locations and 9 cities in Israel.
