SR Socially Relevant™ Film Festival New York - 10th-anniversary edition online - March 16-31, 2023
SR Socially Relevant™ Film Festival New York, a 501(c)3 film festival founded by actress Nora Armani, is launching its 10th anniversary edition March 16-31, 2023. The festival will be in a hybrid format, with in-person screenings until March 23 and then online on the website www.ratedsrfilms.org. This year's line-up includes 70 films from 23 countries. In addition, 3 feature film script finalists compete for best script. The Mission of the SR Film Festival is to shine the spotlight on filmmakers who tell socially relevant human-interest stories, across a broad range of social issues such as racism, prejudice and discrimination, climate change, social injustice, immigration, empowering women and girls, human trafficking, indigenous rights, youth and children, disability, homelessness, LGBTQ rights and more. SRFF believes in the power of cinema in raising awareness towards social issues and helping promote positive social change.
