Young People’s Chorus of New York City Presents A Very Merry New York
The Young People’s Chorus of New York City (YPC) invites audiences to its dazzling holiday spectacular, A Very Merry New York. One of the city’s most joyful musical traditions, A Very Merry New York will feature nearly 600 award-winning YPC choristers, led by YPC Artistic Director/Founder Francisco J. Núñez and Creative Director Elizabeth Núñez. The program includes an eclectic selection of music from around the world, reimagined compositions, and beloved holiday classics brought to life with lively choreography by Jaquelyn Bird. This year’s theme, Finding the Light, shines through in the premiere of a unique new arrangement by Grammy-nominated artist Chandrika Tandon’s Song of Light. The concert will conclude with a festive sing-along where guests are welcome to showcase their musical talents.
