Drunk Black History (New York Comedy Festival)
The critically acclaimed "Drunk Black History" show returns as part of the 2024 New York Comedy Festival where prominent Black historical figures will finally get their due through drunken anecdotes from booked guests! This show is destined to be educational and absolutely bonkers!
Comedian Brandon Collins (New York Comedy Festival) and special guest co-host Rell Battle ("Killing It" on Peacock) hosts this event where you'll hear from comedians, writers, and experts who are skunked out of their mind trying to recap the biography of a historical black figure or event that hasn't gotten the mainstream love they deserved. Joining Brandon onstage are Eva Evans ("Don't Tell Comedy") and Jaboukie Young-White ("Rap Sh!t").
This event is sponsored by McBride Sisters, Sorel Liqueur, and Lyre’s Non-Alcoholic Spirits.
