Miro Magloire's New Chamber Ballet
Choreographer Miro Magloire presents his New Chamber Ballet in "Sanctum< created in collaboration with the Ekmeles vocal ensemble. "Sanctum" describes wither a sacred or a privately secluded one, and Magloire's ballet evokes both, brought to life by the music of Kaija Saariaho of Finland, and Karin Rehnqvist of Sweden. The Ekmeles singers - Charlotte Mundy, Elisa Sutherland, and Joy Tamayo - interact with the dance ensemble. Live music by Doori Na, violin, and Melody Fader, piano.
