Abitah: An Evening with Yosef Goldman at Marlene Meyerson JCC
A night of sacred Jewish music and song, celebrating the recent release of Abitah, the latest album of renowned composer, singer, and Rabbi Yosef Goldman. It creates a rich and multilayered soundscape rooted in Middle Eastern vibes with influences ranging from contemporary Israeli chant circles to contemplative jazz, mystical Hasidic niggunim, and psychedelic folk-rock.

Abitah is "a hidden doorway with the power to open the heart with its elevated spirit; it touches the very root of the soul.” - Rabbah Tamar Elad Applebaum

Featuring Yosef Goldman, Yoni Avi Battat, Yoshie Fruchter, Daniel Ori, Ilya Shneyveys and Shai Wetzer, with special guest Deborah Sacks Mintz.

Co-sponsored by Hadar Rising Song Institute, Romemu and Lab/Shul, Central Synagogue, and the Meyerson JCC.
