Kreatr, a first-of-its-kind online marketplace for physical NFTs, is hosting artist activations on June 21 in the areas of Williamsburg and Bushwick, to celebrate the start of NFT.NYC in New York City. Kreatr debuted its brand at SXSW in March, with a Sky Gallery that featured physical art from over 40 artists and was NFT certified on Kreatr on the Flow blockchain. At launch, 17 original Banksy’s were also certified on the Kreatr platform. The brand is excited to participate in NFT.NYC and continue to demonstrate how they are tokenizing every aspect of culture on the blockchain.

Go Skate Day, the first activation, features skateboard and art influencer Drake Johnson at Blue Park in Williamsburg, who will interact with fellow skaters and fans. Go Skate Day will be documented on Drake’s social channels, who is dropping a limited-quantity, first-of-its-kind NFT certified pro-model skateboard that’s exclusively available on Kreatr. Offering a unique experience for attendees, a select number of the skateboards that have been NFT certified on Kreatr and created as a collab between Drake (known as Nappy Fried Chicken) and artist Esteban Swayze will be awarded for ‘best tricks’ onsite at Blue Park, and as part of a Kreatr online giveaway following the event.

Later in the day, Kreatr will host guests at Bushwick Walls, where attendees will be able to witness and capture real-time street art installations by legendary graffiti artists including RIME MSK, GIZ NYC, Steel MSK, Vizie, Dmote, Wane Cod and Rob CES Provenzano. A live NFT drop of the wall installation will take place onsite, and Kreatr will hand out swag, refreshments and provide product demos.
