Motto by Hilton New York City Chelsea is happy to host a post-NYFW panel, providing a thought-provoking respite from the chaos of the busy week. The panel offers a behind-the-scenes look at the industry following its busiest season, offering the public a peek into the exciting world of entrepreneurs in New York fashion. Attendees will be able to hear from and mingle with panelists and moderator:

Tyler McCall, former Editor-in-Chief of Fashionista / Freelance Writer; NYLON, L’Officiel, ELLE, Vanity Fair and more Tyler was a contributor for for nearly a decade, starting as a fresh-faced intern and working her way through the ranks to ultimately become Editor-in-Chief. While there, she covered fashion shows spanning the globe from Paris and Milan to Moscow and Sydney, and interviewed some of the industry’s brightest stars. Her main focus was on the issues which are changing and shaping the fashion business to be more inclusive.

Alexis Krase- owner of +BKLYN Plus-size boutique selling contemporary and vintage fashions with a focus on sustainability, the concept was born out of Alexis’ first-hand experience and has been featured in Vogue, Refinery29, and more.

Clare Ngai-Howard- founder of BONBONWHIMS An AAPI-owned, Y2K-inspired jewelry brand, BONBONWHIMS began as a passion project and a vehicle to raise awareness and funds for BIPOC organizations and has since been seen in The New York Times, VOGUE, Forbes and more.

Marrisa Wilson, Marrisa Wilson NY CFDA Designer Marrisa Wilson is a first-generation Guyanese-American designer using her collections as a medium to explore culture and history who studied in New York and Paris and previously worked with brands such as J. Mendel and Oscar de la Renta.
