Jay Rodriguez - HarlemJazz Series
Jay Rodriguez is a Grammy-nominated, accomplished, and highly respected saxophonist, flutist, clarinetist, film composer, and producer. After studying at the prestigious New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music under a full scholarship, co-founded by Arnie Lawrence, who said: "Mr. Rodriguez is a visionary... and a true light to hear and see." Rodriguez's resume reads like a who's who of the music world, a testament to his broad range and exceptional skill. Jay has been a driving force in the music industry for many years, working with a variety of artists and teaching all over the world. He co-founded the Groove Collective, which has had a significant influence on modern music, and today he is performing with Soul Inflections. This group features new compositions for clarinet, flute, and saxophones.
