ArtSee: Photos from the Jewish Daily Forward
Due to the coronavirus, please call to ensure this event is still happening before you leave home.
Calling all artsy kids and newshounds! School’s out and we’ve got the perfect vacation day for you. Join us for this special weekday family program as we look closely at selections from the exhibition Pressed: Images from the Jewish Daily Forward. We’ll examine photographic prints and historic pages from the Forward newspaper, the number-one news source for Jewish immigrants in the early 1900s. We’ll focus on how images tell stories – and then make our own works of art exploring storytelling through images. Recommended for children five and up and their adult companions.
$15 for adults
$10 for children, students and seniors
Space is limited; reservations required
Venue: Museum at Eldridge Street
