Strength Class: Mobility
Due to the coronavirus, please call to ensure this event is still happening before you leave home.
Join us for this 55-minute functional strength and mobility class designed specifically for runners that blends Pilates, traditional strength exercises, and functional PT-inspired work to help every runner get faster and run more efficiently. This class will help you gain awareness of proper running form, posture, and the muscles that support and power you through any run, from a 1-mile jog to a marathon. This class will guide you through a series of strength exercises that target the core, glutes, and upper body, in addition to providing flexibility and balance training. If you have mini bands or therabands, please bring them; however, some of each will be provided. This class will be taught by Jen Ares-Cruz.Venue: NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the NB Run Hub
