Empire State Fair
This family-friendly annual event features live entertainment, midway rides and games, and a variety of carnival eats. Included with fair admission ($10; free for kids under 36" tall) are an educational exotic animal petting zoo, fireworks displays (July 4th and both Saturdays), and high-wire, trapeze and motorcycle thrill shows and more under the big top. Unlimited ride wristbands are $35 on site. Visit the website for savings on admission and rides. Fair hours: 5-11 pm weekdays and noon-11 pm Saturdays, Sundays and July 4th. Free parking.
