Jazz saxophone player Marcus Miller will host the monthly gatherings at MoMath, conversing with experts in various fields of art and science. Utilizing both "fireside chat" and "panelist" formats, Marcus will moderate and interview speakers, focusing on how mathematics and art are involved in their fields. Each discussion will begin and end with live musical performances that highlight the concepts discussed. Afterwards, guests are invited to mingle in an informal and celebratory setting with healthy food, non-alcoholic drinks, dancing, and conversation. This will be a space for new friends and expanded horizons.
