Jog Blues
Jog Blues brings together masters of Jazz, Blues and Indian Classical music in a 21st century mix, creating an experience drawing from deep traditions but swinging towards the future. The band is named for Jog, the Indian midnight raga, and the blues, the most American of music genres.
Jog Blues is made up of Indrajit Roy-Chowdhury, sitar; Andy Biskin, clarinet, bass clarinet; Jake Charkey, cello; Joel Bluestein, electric guitar; Jonathan Rose, bass, harmonica; Naren Budhkar, tabla; Pheeroan akLaff, drums and Siddhartha Mukherjee, vocals.
