Transit Tots – Summer Games
Curves are found all around the transit system – in the design of stations and tunnels, in the art that graces stations and in the twists and turns of tracks. We will look at some of New York City's most graceful arcs, considering the importance and the science of curves in transportation designs and experimenting with whirled and twirled materials to get a lesson in curvilinearity! Ages 2-5 and adult companions.
Venue: New York Transit Museum
