The Future of Film Is Female Presented with Moma (Q&A with the Filmmakers)
The Future of Film is Female is an initiative that provides financial and promotional support to women filmmakers who are in pre/post-production of a short film. The premise is simple – when you purchase one of our shirts and all the proceeds go towards the fund. Since launching in February 2018, the Future of Film is Female has been able to give funds to eight filmmakers and in July 2018 partnered with MoMA on a on-going screening series to champion contemporary films directed by women early in their careers in an effort to have their voices represented and respected on equal footing with their male counterparts. It's an honor to begin our journey of gender-equality behind the camera with these amazing filmmakers and we hope that you'll come show your support!
