Power Flow & Yin Yoga with Luna Castilho
About the class: Break a sweat with Luna in the SoHo Skyline! Connect and tune in with yourself with the ultimate power & yin flow lead by Luna Castilho.
45 min higher-intensity freestyle power Vinyasa flow followed by 30min of Restorative Yin Yoga.
The class is about being purposeful with your breath, embodiment, taking the time to tune in and connect with yourself, as well as challenging the body throughout a powerful yoga flow.
The class starts with a gentle breath work followed by a mindful flow building up to a peak pose. Expect Sun Salutations, arm balances and inversions, followed by long held stretches on the mat to slow down, connect and tune in.
The class will be held on the Penthouse Terrace on the 26th floor, weather permitting. In the case of inclement weather, the class will be held inside the Penthouse.

Luna Castilho is a Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Breath work and Pranayama teacher and a Sound Healer.
Luna grew up in a small beach town close to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, surrounded by nature, hiking mountains barefoot, going to the beach, surfing, exploring the jungles and playing all sorts of outdoor sports.
She had contact from an early age with Buddhism, Hinduism, Bhakti and Ayurveda.
For nearly 20 years in the Fashion industry working as a fashion model, she spent most of her life trying to constantly adhere to a certain “beauty standard” set forward by the fashion industry. Unhappy with how she felt, she discovered her life’s purpose: to help others embrace their body and find their power within.
Practicing yoga for many years she worked initially as a strength coach, but she found in yoga an opportunity to unite the physical and the spiritual practices.
She did her trainings at Pure Yoga and Prema Yoga Institute under Yogi Charu, Andrea Borrero, Kay Kay Clivio, Dana Slamp, and Jessica Caplan. She considers yoga an opportunity to heal, connect and remember our strength within.
When taking classes with her, you can expect powerful flows combined by mindful contemplations and grounding experiences. Working the body, mind, soul and spirit.
Her background is in Vinyasa with Ashtanga and Iyengar alignment. She has roots in Hatha Yoga practice, philosophy and pranayama techniques under Yogi Charu, Yin Yoga, and Sound healing under Dana Slamp and Jessica Caplan. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM), Group Fitness Instructor (AFAA) and Nutrition Coach (PN).
