Mestiza New York’s Weekly Virtual Design Class
Due to the coronavirus, please call to ensure this event is still happening before you leave home.
Mestiza New York designers Alessandra Perez Rubio and Louisa Rechter are inspiring kids and adults with this free virtual design class. As a female founded company, Mestiza New York is committed to giving back to their community in the way that they know best at this time – by hosting a virtual fashion design class for ages 5 and up to offer an immersive learning experience so parents can receive some down time during the quarantine. The classes will be held on Zoom once a week and lessons will progress consecutively. Each class will dive into the depths of inspiration, sketching, fabrics, and more. By the end of the course, students will learn what it takes to design a mini capsule collection of their own.
