Poets House will present a virtual reading by Poet Tommy Pico of his books Feed, Junk, and Nature Poem, from Chumash, Tongva & Tataviam Territory in Los Angeles. The reading will be live-streamed on the Poets House Twitter page on Friday, June 5th at 12:00 PM, and will also be available on the Poets House Facebook page, IGTV, and YouTube channel.

Tommy “Teebs” Pico is author of the books IRL, Nature Poem, Junk, Feed, and myriad keen tweets. Originally from the Viejas Indian reservation of the Kumeyaay nation, he now splits his time between Los Angeles and Brooklyn. He co-curates the reading series Poets with Attitude, co-hosts the podcast Food 4 Thot and Scream, Queen! and is a contributing editor at Literary Hub.

Founded by two-time U.S. Poet Laureate Stanley Kunitz and legendary arts administrator Elizabeth Kray, Poets House serves as a home for all who read and write poetry. In 2009, Poets House moved into its permanent home at 10 River Terrace in Battery Park City on the banks of the Hudson River where, last year, 80,000 people walked through its doors, and more than five million were introduced to Poets House through its new website and national partnerships. 2017 marks the 30th Anniversary Celebration of this landmark institution.
