Poster House Poster Kids
Poster House, the first museum in the United States dedicated to the global history of posters, will host a “Poster Kids” event on June 2, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Poster House, 119 West 23rd Street in Manhattan. Poster House will be offering free admission for guests to attend this family-friendly programming and explore the museum’s latest exhibitions.
Poster Kids will learn about printing methods used to create our most beloved movie posters through images on view in The Anatomy of a Movie Poster: The Work of Dawn Baillie. Afterwards, they will use the knowledge to create and print their own designs. This program invites children 5–11 years old and their adults to collaborate (siblings are welcome). This is not a drop-off program.
Free tickets can be reserved online in advance of June 2. During normal hours, tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students, veterans, and seniors. Poster House offers free museum admission through the New York City’s public library Culture Pass system.
