Tristan Kwame Irving Artist Talk
We've now set a new date for our FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE artist talk featuring Tristan Kwame Irving set for Friday, August 16th from 6 - 8 PM at MAISON 10.
Prepare yourself for an unforgettable night as we introduce Tristan as part of the new showcase for THIS IS OUR STREET, our first group show of 10 local street artists!
Tristan Kwame Irving is a New York-based creative who focuses on work where art and design meet. A born collaborator who serves the community, Irving pulls from every conceivable experience that shapes his ideas and perspectives. This allows Irving to explore many mediums, ranging from traditional canvases and murals to photography and clothing.
Threaded through most of his practice, is the idea of using color and shapes to shift perspectives and evoke emotions. This has ushered Irving into a space where his work is distinctly unique and recognizable. With his evolving approach to art Irving's focus is on expanding customary views of creativity, challenging fine art paradigms, and breaking rules.
The art talk will start promptly at 7:15 pm and will be followed by a fun Q&A session.
