Lynn Katsafouros Recent Work The strength and wisdom of the feminine are the inspiration for Lynn Katsafouros’ latest work. Each portrait displays a provocative stillness that seduces the viewer to peer into the beauty of the commonplace. This intensity is then balanced with the lighthearted play of cats. The strength and power that lies within every woman has been my inspiration for this group of work. Each painting had its own journey. The essence and beauty of a simple pose, a subtle glance, or the playfulness of a cat captured in an everyday moment reveals the multiple facets that make each of us unique.
