Everything's Fine: a performative exploration of mental illness
Due to the coronavirus, please call to ensure this event is still happening before you leave home.
Mental illness comes in different forms, and in many ways, society still does not know how to deal with it or those who suffer from it. EVERYTHING’S FINE presents performances of music, poetry, theater, and other art that grapples with the difficulties of coping with different types of mental illness. Rather than concealing the condition, we can use art to connect emotionally with these difficulties, whether they’re experienced firsthand or through a friend or relative.
Performances by: Akio Mokuno, Cherry, Hitomi Honda, Howie Kenty/HWARG, Rebekah Norris, Patrick Brzezinski-Scorese, Sara Chan, Steven T. Licardi, Thoughtress Poetry
