Paul Surf Celebrates 10 Years with Anniversary Party and Custom Surfboard Raffle in Rockaway Beach, NY
October 26 Event to Feature Gallery Showcase, Live Music, Drinks, and More
Paul Surf, the design studio of Paul J. Schmidt, is proud to celebrate a decade of craftsmanship with a special anniversary party on October 26, 2024, at the Rockaway Beach Surf Club. As one of a select few artists in the world who builds surfboards entirely by hand, Paul’s milestone event will highlight his history of surfboard building and debut brand-new work, including never-before-seen functional surf artwork.
Attendees will enjoy live music, a DJ, and drinks, while browsing Paul’s creations over the years in a gallery-style showcase. The celebration will culminate in an exciting raffle, where participants stand to win a custom surfboard valued at $3000-$5000, a $1500 gift certificate, and Paul Surf merchandise.

Paul Surf the brainchild of Paul J. Schmidt, a New York-based artist and surfboard builder known for crafting high-quality, bespoke surfboards that merge art with performance. For over a decade, Paul has created boards that excel both in the water and as striking pieces of art. Recognizing that a surfboard spends much of its life out of the ocean, he designs each one to be as visually compelling as it is functional, making his boards equally suited for display or surfing.
