Coventry - Queensmark Award reception
COVENTRY COMMEMORATED WITH PRESTIGIOUS QUEENSMARK AWARD
Coventry is receiving long overdue recognition with a prestigious Queensmark Award for being a vital part of the rock scene in the 1970s. Representatives from the Queens Historical Society including president Rob MacKay executive director Jason D. Antos will formally hand over the circular bronze plaque to Charlie Sub, the son of Coventry founder Paul Sub and frontman of indie rock band Charlie Sub & Sound Dogs at a reception October 30, 2024 7PM at Sanger Hall (48-20 Skillman Avenue, Long Island City, New York 11104).
