Blackbox Ensemble is a New-York based ensemble devoted to critical engagement in contemporary cultural discourse through creative practice. Their new program, Artificial Life, explores the relationships between sound, biology, nature, and technology through pieces that use sound and media to explore intersections thereof. The program includes new collaborative work by composer Andrew Moses and violinist/sound artist Lara Lewison.
