Paolo Bordignon - Lenten Organ Recital
Come hear the largest pipe organ in New York City and one of the quintessential examples of the American Classic organ. St. Bart's Romanesque architecture and breathtaking interiors should not be missed!
The tradition of Lenten organ recitals at St. Bart’s goes back many decades and Great Music is delighted to offer two of these 40-minute programs this season. (March 5 - Paolo Bordignon; March 19 - Alexander Pattavina)
The organists’ hands and feet will be visible by means of a large video screen placed in the chancel.
Paolo Bordignon is Organist & Choirmaster of St. Bartholomew’s Church and harpsichordist of the New York Philharmonic. He studied at Philadelphia’s Curtis Institute of Music before earning a doctorate from the Juilliard School. **Open to everyone - pay what you wish in advance or at the door.
