Preludes are resembling a series of very vivid paintings, contain many different styles of writing, elements of Slavic, Jewish, and other ethnic music. As such, this work has an intricate connection to and will be juxtaposed with the famed Pictures at an Exhibition by MODEST MUSSORGSKY (1839 -1881) performed by the brilliant world-class pianist, ILYA YAKUSHEV. The program also includes Two Yiddish Songs by M.Weinberg featuring the cantor of SWFS, DANIEL SINGER.
