Children's Orchestra Society 25th Annual Discovery Concert and 50th Anniversary Gala Benefit Concert
Children's Orchestra Society's Annual Discovery concert features the winner of the 2019 Senior Discovery competition, contrabass Darren Yang, and a distinguished guest artist. This year, in celebration of its 50th Anniversary, members of all COS orchestras will be playing the overture from Rossini's Barber of Seville and the world premiere of Gutierrez's Still Playing. Alumni will join the Young Symphonic Ensemble in Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade.
