Watercolor & the Sketchbook: Recording the Story of Your Life!
Due to the coronavirus, please call to ensure this event is still happening before you leave home.
Over the course of this class you'll start a sketchbook practice, and each week talk about different ways of recording your experiences and dreams. We'll cover basic art concepts and use multiple media with a focus on watercolor. Laura Eliason is a Brooklyn-based multi-media artist and teacher whose work engages with themes of visual storytelling, philosophy, and preserving the handmade. Some of her favorite media and techniques to work with include: pen & ink, watercolor, oil paint, dye, crochet, and machine knitting.
Venue: Stories Bookshop + Storytelling Lab
