Adapting Brecht: The Mother to A Mother
Please join us for an in-person event featuring actress Jessica Hecht and playwright Neena Beber along with composers Mustapha Khan, Kenneth Vaughan, and Norman Burns the creative team behind 'A Mother,' a radical re-telling of Bertolt Brecht’s play 'The Mother,' premiering this spring at Baryshnikov Arts. Live music followed by a panel discussion moderated by esteemed dramaturg and novelist Todd London. “In the dark times will there also be singing? Yes, there will be singing. About the dark times.” This event will be hosted in the Strand Book Store's 3rd floor Rare Book Room at 828 Broadway on 12th Street.
