Hot Cocoa Holiday Sing-along Presented by Sutton Place Parks Conservancy
The Sutton Place Parks Conservancy (SPPC) will host its Fourth Annual Seasonal Singalong on Saturday, December 14th, at 5:00 PM. Sutton Place Park at East 57th Street will come alive with the sounds of seasonal tunes, the aroma of free hot chocolate, and the glow of a light show—plus a whimsical new addition that’s sure to bring smiles to all ages. (Hint: It’s big, bright, and perfect for snowy selfies!)
This year’s Singalong features vocalists from All Saints Choir and children from the Levy Children’s Choir School, both led by musical director James Hopkins, who will also accompany the singers on electric keyboard.
The program includes diverse holiday favorites such as Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls, The Dreidel Song, Light of Mine, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and lesser-known treasures like Quita’l Tas (a traditional Sephardic song). Lyrics will be provided, so everyone can join in the celebration.
“Sutton Place Parks Conservancy offers this annual holiday singalong in one of the city’s most stunning riverside parks,” said Karen Nielsen, Chair of the SPPC Events Committee. “We welcome everyone to come together to share the holiday spirit, meet their neighbors, and enjoy this special seasonal tradition.”
Participants will enjoy free hot chocolate with all the fixings provided by Crumbly Café and Bakery (991 First Avenue). As a finale, SPPC will present its popular light show, featuring festive new elements for the occasion. The Seasonal Singalong is free and open to all. Bring your family, friends, and holiday cheer!
