Anne Being Frank
ANNE BEING FRANK STAGED READING: ONE PERSON SHOW
Writer: Ron Elisha Director: Amanda Brooke Lerner Anne: Alexis Fishman
“In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart…”
Anne Frank wrote these famous words a mere three weeks before she met the people that weren’t. How would her diary had read if she had met those people? Very, very differently.
In “Anne Being Frank”, while dying in a Nazi concentration camp, Anne sets about re-writing her entire diary from cover to cover. She couldn’t live with herself if someone read her little journal and actually believed what she had written. And she certainly can’t die before she corrects her mistake.
