The program features works by rising American composers Sean Shepherd, Eric Nathan, and Daniel Temkin, as well as Debussy's masterful final work, his Sonata for Violin and Piano. The music is played by DUO ING (Ying Xue, violin and Qing Jiang, piano) who have been praised by the New York Times for their "surging climaxes" and "vigorous playing." Special thanks to the Tenri Center and the Yellow Barn Artist Residency Program in Vermont.
