Brooklyn's 5th Annual One Liner Madness
Due to the coronavirus, please call to ensure this event is still happening before you leave home.
It's time for Brooklyn's 5th Annual One Liner Madness joke contest, sponsored by New Belgium Brewing!
On this epic night of fast-paced comedy, 64 standup comedians go head-to-head in a bracket-style, single-elimination one liner joke tournament. Audience applause determines which performers from Comedy Central, The Daily Show, Seth Meyers, Colbert, MTV and The Tonight Show advance, and who ultimately becomes the 2020 ONE LINER MADNESS CHAMPION. Plus, the first 100 audience members to arrive will get a FREE New Belgium Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA!
The show is at 8 PM on Thursday, March 26 at The Bell House in Brooklyn. Doors (and free beer) begin at 7. Tickets are $12/adv and $15 day of show.
One Liner Madness was created by Larry Mancini (ESPN Radio) and Emily Winter (Writer for NPR's "Ask Me Another") of BackFat Variety, and is hosted by Emily Winter with music by Larry Mancini and John Payne. Tie-breaking judges include actor Omar Capra (Spider-Man, 30 Rock) and past winner of the contest Camille Theobald. One Liner Madness has toured the country and been profiled in The New York Times.
Venue: The Bell House
149 7th St.
