The band was founded in 2014 by Drummer Christopher Beairsto and Vocalist/Guitarist Ryan Dempsey in a Bronx Basement. With a full line-up, the group released their self-titled debut EP "FLOAT". In 2016 the group recorded their second EP, "Momentum in a Bottle" and released their debut music video for their track "Happy Hour". Under their new name, For Lack of a Term currently consists of Dempsey and Beairsto with the added talent of Conner Cullen on Guitar and Arthur Wernham on Bass. The 4 piece has played various venues throughout NYC and Westchester, including their first tour in the summer of 2017. Most notably, they played the Pleasantville Music Festival after participating in the Pleasantville Battle of the Bands. Recently the band opened up for Drake Bell and they've released their newest video for their song "Chronic Overthinker". Venue Description: A bar/club down in the East Village, not far from where the old CBGB's used to be, that often features live music from up-and-coming bands, dance parties, and more nightlife entertainment events.
