King of Nothing
On a garbage heap at the end of the world one fool looks for meaning and love from the only words they’ve ever known. King of Nothing is a one person, one sock puppet mangling of King Lear inspired by the environmental collapse of our post-Amazon age that explores the viability of text stripped of its original context and structure. Can we create beauty out of garbage? Can we find ourselves together in our loneliness? What is the point of a fool at the end of the world?
