Kobis, an attorney with Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C., will be honored as a Rising Star Recipient at the United Way of Greater Union County’s Annual Celebration on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. The event will be held at the Gran Centurions (440 Madison Hill Road, Clark, NJ) from 6-9 pm. The Annual Celebration recognizes local leaders in philanthropy, business, and advocacy who share United Way’s mission of service. United Way of Greater Union County (UWGUC) created the event as a way to recognize community and business leaders who are committed to making communities stronger and improving the odds for children and families. Proceeds will benefit programs and services funded by UWGUC. In addition to Ms. Kobis’ honor, Lindabury will be a Spirit of the Community honoree at the Celebration. “We are honored to receive these awards and to share United Way’s commitment to the communities we serve,” said Eric B. Levine, partner and vice president, Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C. “We are also proud to have Nicole Kobis on our team, as she demonstrates unwavering dedication to protecting the rights of women, children and other clients.” Nicole A. Kobis focuses her practice on the area of family law, including advising clients on matters involving divorce, custody, spousal support, child support, equitable charitable distribution and domestic violence. She is an active member of Lindabury’s Women’s Business Initiative and received her J.D. degree from Rutgers School of Law-Newark. Previously, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Katherine R. Dupuis, P.J.F.P. of the New Jersey Superior Court in Union County.
