Black Icons of Podcasting: Tracy Clayton

Tracy Clayton. You may recognize her as half of the much-loved BuzzFeed podcast Another Round (hailed as one of the Top 5 podcasts in iTunes, Slate and The Atlantic). Or you may know her from the brand new Netflix podcast Strong Black Legends, in which Tracy talks one-on-one with Black legends of Hollywood. Tonight she sits down with host Rebecca Carroll to talk IRL about her journey into podcasting, her eagerly awaited return to the mic and what lies ahead in this rapidly growing industry. Black Icons of Podcasting is a limited series in which Rebecca sits down with some of the podcasting world's most influential Black hosts and producers, who will share an unfiltered reflection on their incredible (and unexpected) journeys into the ear buds of millions of listeners around the globe. Big (and challenging) questions will get asked. Tea will be spilled. Trailblazers celebrated. Be a part of this moment. This is a demo, a rough draft, a sample. Monday nights in The Greene Space we swap studio postproduction for real-time ruckus with tapings of your favorite podcasts, sneaky peeks of unreleased pilots and works-in-progress, conversations with the people who make great tape, and audio experiments of all kinds. Take the earbuds out, grab a drink, and get live with your fellow listeners.
