High Line Family Festival
Join the High Line and Children's Museum of the Arts on Saturday, August 24th from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on the High Line at 14th Street and 10th Avenue and make art En Plein Air (French for “outdoors”) with us!
Draw inspiration from the park’s landscapes and the magic of the contemporary artworks included in the High Line’s 2019 group art exhibition, En Plein Air, featuring the Untitled (Four Arches) by Sam Falls, and Lubaina Himid’s Five Conversations.
Enjoy the sounds of calming music as you work collaboratively on a large mural, paint with bubbles you blow in salt water and watercolors, and make your own charm using native plants from the High Line.
Join the parade to the Young Artists Dance Party from 12:00 p.m. -1:00 p.m.
The High Line is a nonprofit organization that oversees the public programming, public art, maintenance, and operations for the park in New York City, raising nearly 100% of its annual budget.
