Joachim Mencel Brooklyn Eye U.S. Tour
In his quartet, the Polish piano titan Joachim Mencel also performs on hurdy gurdy, a cranked fiddle of the Middle Ages. He and Pete McCann (guitars), Ugonna Okegwo (bass), and Rogerio Boccato (drums) create distinctive jazz. This performance will become a live-recorded CD with Seattle’s Origin Records label on the heels of their "Brooklyn Eye" which was named Best Recording of 2020 in High Fidelity magazine.
