The shows will feature music from her recently released albums, Ice Wine: songs for Christmas & dark winter nights and 3AM - the dogs, the milkman and me. With Musical Director and arranger, Ethan Fein, Kaye will navigate both the dark and lighter side of life, genre bending as she digs into material from the best of the 20th and 21st centuries' songwriters including: Annie Lennox, Dar Williams, Bruce Springsteen and Rickie Lee Jones among others. This dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker's sense of humor, irony and outrage was born in the nooks and crannies of The Russian Tea Room, which her family owned in its heydey from 1947 to 1996. Kaye works a showroom like she's at a party with old friends. http://www.cityguideny.com/eventinfo.cfm?id=102216 The Metropolitan Room The Metropolitan Room
