This March, the Peace Corps is celebrating its 59th anniversary, and The New School is hosting its annual Storytelling Event and Networking Reception in honor of “Peace Corps Week.” This year's theme is “Building Your Future: Connecting and Creating Community in a New Decade.” Returned Peace Corps Volunteers will share five-minute stories about community projects, relationships, and accomplishments from their service that are making an impact on the new decade. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet and mingle with New School students, faculty, staff, alumni and the Returned Peace Corps Volunteer NYC group throughout the evening.
