Sustainable Home Fair in Brooklyn
The Old Stone House outdoors in Washington Park, Brooklyn, and Heat/Cool Smart Brooklyn will be the hosts to the Sustainable Home Fair on October 16th from 11am-5pm. The event will focus on how homeowners, renters and building owners can lower their carbon footprint and energy bills, while learning how to finance these efforts. There will be free presentations every hour by experts knowledgeable in: solar panels, heat pumps, passive homes, rain barrels, composting, green roofs, home insulation, electric ranges, urban farming, and more. Expert presenters include: Alive Structures; Brooklyn Solar Works; Green Team Long Island; Heat/Cool Smart Brooklyn; New York Passive House; and Power Market.
