Uncle Function, one of New York City’s premier sketch comedy troupes, is proud to present their ‘4th Annual Very Creepy Uncle Function!’ Get ready to laugh until you scream! Celebrate this spooky season with the most hilariously terrifying and creepy people around- your ‘Uncles’! This brand new show is sure to haunt your funny bone, featuring original sketch comedy written and performed by Uncle Function, who will also be joined by Special Guest comedian Steven Castillo, writer for Saturday Night Live! Tickets for the show are available for purchase at: Uncle Function has been hailed as "one of the smartest, silliest, and most seductively satisfying shows around!" by NY TheatreGuide has warned: “You really need to take the opportunity to see this group before the apocalypse happens.” Uncle Function is a sketch comedy group based in New York City. It was formed in 2015 with the help of Tony Award-winning producer Ken Davenport (Once On This Island, Kinky Boots). Uncle Function is written by and features Chris Cafero (Chicago Fire/NBC, The Other Two/Comedy Central), Russell Daniels (UCB Maude Night), Jessica Frey (The Characters/Netflix), Douglas Goodhart (“Discover Card Guy”), and Gianmarco Soresi (Hustlers, Deception/ABC). Since their inception, Uncle Function has appeared on ABC News, The New York Times,, HuffPost,, and more. They have performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCB), Davenport Theatre, Broadway Comedy Club, The Tank Theater, Ensemble Studio Theatre and now they can be seen every month at The PIT. With their signature blend of cerebral and silly humor and unrivaled acting chops, these Uncles, just like your real uncles, will make you laugh, cry, think, feel moderately uncomfortable and then send you back to your parents, forever changed!
