John Zorn's Simulacrum
Due to the coronavirus, please call to ensure this event is still happening before you leave home.
21+ The most extreme organ trio ever, Simulacrum is Zorn's most intense recent project. Described as Tony Williams' Lifetime on Adrenaline, they have made six CDs featuring complex and dramatic through-composed pieces that unfold with a cinematic logic. Touching upon metal, jazz, minimalism, atonality, noise and more, this genre bending music defies classification. John Medeski (MMW), Matt Hollenberg (Cleric) and Kenny Grohowski (Imperial Triumphant) this is a rare chance to see this powerful all-star band.
Venue: The Sultan Room
