US Open
The US Open, one of the world’s highest-attended annual sporting events, is renowned for providing its fans with an unparalleled experience. In 2023, the US Open is celebrating 50 years of equal prize money for men and women tennis players. In 1973, the US Open became the first of the four Grand Slam tournaments to offer equal prize money, a pioneering move that shook the sport and began to reshape it towards a more equitable future.
