Ross Osteen Band --- BLUES
The Ross Osteen bands' sound on stage drew Buddy Guy out of the kitchen at Legends in Chicago to join them on stage for a recent set in the windy city. To have a blues legend be drawn to your music and want to perform with you sight unseen is a testament to the deep blues sound emanating from the stage at a Ross Osteen show. With a voice that summons the guttural howls of John Fogerty and guitar work that ranges from the front porch to outer space, Ross Osteen draws from the powerful blues/rock scene of the deep south. The songwriter from western North Carolina performing in the midst of an eclectic music scene with influences from bluegrass to rock brings his bluesy sound to life. Patrick Gaynor on drums, a veteran of the New York music scene and channeling the hypnotic sound of the Allman Brothers is bassist Jim Vint also a New York native on a North Carolina musical journey.
