In celebration of National Cheeseburger Day, Urban Cove Society & Kitchen, which opened earlier this summer at 33 Hotel, New York City, Seaport, is hosting a Battle of the Burgers cheeseburger contest on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 6:00pm- 7:30pm at 33 Peck Slip. The contest will highlight the limited-time signature burger menu at Urban Cove, which was created for National Cheeseburger Month, and give attendees the opportunity to select the next signature burger to land a spot on Urban Cove’s menu.

Available all September long, Urban Cove has launched three new burgers on its menu to accompany its rich Double Smashed Burger in celebration of National Cheeseburger Month: a Mediterranean-inspired Aegean Lamb Burger, a flavorful Crispy Shrimp Burger, and a vegetarian-friendly Spiced Bean & Quinoa Burger.

Four judges will kick off the contest with a roundtable discussion on their most memorable burger experiences & favorite burger pairings, and then perform a live blindfolded review on Urban Cove’s signature burgers, rating them based on criteria such as bun, flavor, protein, and texture. The judges will consist of celebrity stylist Rox Brown, FOX & Friends co-anchor Lawrence Jones, F&B content creator The Broke NYer, and sports & events host Young Prince.

Tickets are now available for $25 on Eventbrite. Included in the price of the ticket will be complimentary wine during the roundtable discussion and complimentary miniature sliders of each burger special, which will be given out to each guest for their chance to vote on the best burger (the burger with the most votes will be selected as the winner!). The first 25 people to RSVP will score a free ticket and have the chance to come up with the next burger to land a spot on Urban Cove’s menu.
